Two thirty-somethings embark on a crazy project: to create a series in Occitan. It’s the pitch of slapstick comedy The Series , the first fiction 100% produced and shot in Occitania. A daring bet for the authors Amic Bedel and Julien Campredon, two lovers of their region and defenders of the preservation of the Occitan language.

If they took years to shoot the five episodes, they were able to count on the support of France Télévisions, more particularly of its local antenna France 3 Occitanie. “Proof that in the region, we are moving!”, enthuses program manager Fabrice Valéry. The series is available on the France.tv platform, before a broadcast probably at the start of the school year on France 3 Occitanie. Amic Bedel and Fabrice Valéry are Célyne Baÿt-Darcourt’s media guests.
