A septuagenarian misses the call in Gatineau

The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) is asking the public for help in locating a 73-year-old man missing in the Aylmer sector, in the Outaouais region.

Serge Blanchette was last seen on Tuesday around 9:30 a.m. when he left his residence to take a walk, as he usually does quite often.

The man could be disoriented, which is of particular concern to the police.

Mr. Blanchette is 1.65 m tall and has green eyes and thinning gray hair. He is white skinned and speaks French and English.

The last time he was seen, the 70-year-old was wearing a green line across the abdomen, black pants and a gray or brown cap, according to police description.
