A second suspect was arrested after the assault of an off-duty police officer on Sunday, November 28, while he was with his partner at the Italie 2 shopping center, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, franceinfo learned from a source close to the case on Tuesday. The off-duty policeman was seriously injured with a stabbing weapon after a dispute with several people. According to the first evidence, the official was with his partner when he had an altercation with individuals after two young people made derogatory remarks. The policeman then explained himself outside the mall with the group of young people. It was then that the policeman was stabbed in the stomach. The officer then took out his service weapon and the two individuals fled.
His days are not in danger. An investigation was opened for “attempted murder”. This investigation was entrusted to the 3rd district of judicial police.
