A 22-year-old man was taken into police custody in the investigation into the disappearance of a couple in Deux-Sèvres, announced Wednesday, March 1, the public prosecutor of Poitiers. This new suspect was arrested in La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime), the day after the arrest of a relative of Leslie Hoorelbeke, 22, and Kevin Trompat, 21, who have not given any sign of life since the November 26, 2022.
The first suspect, in custody since Tuesday morning, must be brought before an investigating judge on Thursday, for a possible indictment, added the prosecutor. Arrested in L’Aiguillon-sur-Mer (Vendée), this man was to accommodate the couple on the evening of his disappearance. “Investigations are continuing”said the prosecution, refusing to communicate more information at this stage.
