A second man was taken into custody, two days after the broadcast of a video showing the passengers of a car dragging pedestrians several meters to force them to run on Sunday evening in Noisy-le-Sec in Seine-Saint -Denis, learned franceinfo Tuesday, January 11 from a police source, confirming information from AFP.
The suspect went to the city police station on his own at dawn on Tuesday (around 5.15 a.m.) and claims to be the author of the video. He also says he posted it on social networks. Monday afternoon, a first man was taken into custody in this case. A third suspect is still wanted.
An investigation was opened after the reporting of this video, entitled “laughter of the evening”, on the Pharos platform. It shows hilarious passengers in a car holding the arms of two pedestrians out the window of their moving vehicle to force them to run, before letting them go and knocking them onto the roadway.
Monday, a first complaint was filed by a man of about 70, slightly injured during the events. In his complaint, he assures that three people were on board the vehicle. A second complaint was filed Tuesday by another victim.
