A second journalist died while covering the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
the gulf times announced Sunday the disappearance of the Qatari photojournalist Khalid al-Misslam who would have died “suddenly” on Saturday, twenty-four hours after the announcement of the loss of the American sports journalist Grant Wahl.
The circumstances of the death of the Al Kass TV photojournalist are not detailed.
Grant Wahl died on Friday while covering the match between Argentina and the Netherlands. American reporters in the media box reported that Wahl fell from his seat during extra time. The journalist is said to have died of cardiac arrest.
