The rich programme of the International Literature Festival (FIL), which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, was unveiled on Tuesday at the Lion d’Or cabaret, notably with an exhibition at the gallery of the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme which looks back on these wonderful decades.
Terracesthe reading-performance of Laurent Gaudé’s story which was adapted for the theater in Paris by Denis Marleau and Stéphanie Jasmin, will open the FIL on September 18.
Among the expected shows, we can mention: Emily, Nobody’s Daughter with Pascale Montpetit and Dominique Fortier, who has dedicated two books to the poet Emily Dickinson, the reading of sad tiger based on the novel by Neige Sinno with Anne-Marie Cadieux, River Womana reading by Evelyne de la Chenelière of the book by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, or even Twenty years of changing liveswhich will celebrate in style the 20th anniversary of Poètes de brousse editions.
