As Covid-19-related mortality skyrocketed in Ukraine, the government is willing to pay to get residents to get vaccinated. The Ukrainian president announced that a person who received two doses of the vaccine could receive the equivalent of 35 euros. Currently, only 28% of the Ukrainian population is vaccinated against Covid-19.

Azeem Rafiq is a former Yorkshire (UK) cricketer. Of Pakistani origin, he denounces during a hearing the racism of which he has been a victim for years. He evokes the harsh words he had to endure and denounces the inaction of the leaders. His partners would have insulted him for “elephant washer”, he confides.
