A respectable woman | Bernard Émond’s new film world premiere in Munich





The new film by Bernard Émond, A respectable womanwill have its world premiere at the 40e Munich Film Festival.


The screening of the feature film will take place on June 28 in the presence of the director of The Novena and actress Hélène Florent.

Scripted from a short story by Luigi Pirandello, A respectable woman, set in Trois-Rivières in the 1930s, tells the story of a woman separated from her husband who takes him home after the death of her concubine. Now a father, the man brings with him his three daughters.

Paul Savoie, Brigitte Lafleur and Normand Canac-Marquis are also part of the cast of this film which will be released in Quebec on August 18.
