The repeal text filed by the RN this Wednesday, September 18, provides for a return to the legal age of 62 with 42 years of contributions.

The National Rally presented his bill aiming at “restore a fairer retirement system by cancelling the latest reforms on retirement age and the number of annuities”. According to Thomas Ménagé, RN MP for Loiret, “we are returning to the legal age of 62 years and 42 years of contributions, a situation prior to the Touraine reform”.

The RN says it is convinced that it will obtain the majority of this reform, contested as much in the street as in the hemicycle. For the left, there is no question of endorsing it. “A few months ago, Jordan Bardella told the bosses of Medef: ‘Don’t worry, we are not going to repeal the pension reform'”points out Aurélie Trouvé, LFI-NFP MP for Seine-Saint-Denis. The left wants to present its own text.

Among the RN’s allies, Éric Ciotti and his friends are defending the maintenance of the retirement age at 64. The RN’s proposal will be presented on October 31 in its parliamentary niche.
