a Rennes-Marseille shock, PSG well off… Discover the complete draw for the round of 16

The matches will take place over the weekend on January 20 and 21, throughout France.

The 32 teams still in the running are set. The draw revealed, Monday January 8, the posters for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. The hands of Tamara Horacek, world handball champion in December, and Benjamin Moukandjo, former Ligue 1 player, notably pulled off a clash between two Ligue 1 and European teams, Rennes and Marseille. Bretons and Phocaeans had already faced each other a year ago, at the same stage of the competition, for an OM victory. Another meeting will pit two elite clubs, Clermont and Strasbourg, while Nice will travel to Bordeaux (L2).

Large winner of Revel (9-0) for the last match of the 32nd, PSG inherited an affordable opponent on paper, Orléans, resident of National 1, and will travel to the Source stadium. Winner of the 32nd round clash on penalties against Lens, Monaco will travel to Rodez, their tormentor last season, to try to take their revenge. Title holders, Toulouse will go to Rouen (N1), while Lyon will travel to Périgord, to Bergerac.

Little thumb of the competition, Saint-Priest, which plays in N3, will welcome Romorantin, N2 club. Fate was less kind to Feignies Aulnoye, author of one of the exploits of the previous round by taking out Quevilly, a resident of Ligue 2. The Northerners will face Montpellier.
