The XV of France has eight players under the age of 21 in its ranks.
Among the 36 players of the XV of France selected for the autumn tour, eight are between 18 and 21 years old. Several of them celebrated their first selection against South Africa and New Zealand, fulfilling a childhood dream. All Sport went to meet them, in Marcoussis, Wednesday, November 17.
These young neo-Blue players received their “cap”, a cap symbolizing their first selection. Marie Dupouy, Coco Lindelauf, Chloé Jaquet or even Melissandre Llorens felt “a special feeling” when putting on the jersey of the XV of France for the first time, an important step in their career, which they enjoyed together. Like the last two, each author of an essay against the South Africans or New Zealanders, they now hope to shine during the last meeting of the autumn tour, again against the Black Ferns.
