A rave party bringing together 1,700 people has been underway since Saturday, September 10, on a Natura 2000 classified site in the town of Chaffal (Drôme), in the Vercors, reports France Bleu Drôme Ardèche.
The party started on Saturday evening and initially gathered 600 people on this isolated site located in the direction of the Col des Limouches. The number of parties rose rapidly overnight. This Sunday morning, according to the authorities, there are at least 1,700. The Romans-sur-Isère gendarmerie is on site to carry out numerous vehicle checks.
The owner of the land and the town hall of Chaffal both filed a complaint. According to the elected official, there is no overflow but a fence was damaged.
