The Landes Assize Court must rule, from Monday, November 29, on a rape, which allegedly took place during the Madeleine celebrations, in Mont-de-Marsan.
On the night of July 20-21, 2019, a young woman in her twenties partied with friends, but during the evening she was separated from her group of friends. She’s not Mons, she doesn’t know the city and she does not know where to go to reach the campsite where she sleeps.
He takes her to Jean Rameau Park
She then stumbles upon a 16-year-old young man, who offers to guide her. He explains to her that you have to go through Jean Rameau Park to get to her destination, and that is where he allegedly raped her. She eventually fled, in shock.
The young man is already well known to justice and he was remanded in custody. Now of full age, his trial before the juvenile assize court may, in part, be public. But the in camera will be requested. The trial is scheduled to last until Wednesday.
