After the discovery on Friday April 14 of a body corresponding to Marciano, a 7-year-old child with autism who has been missing in Niort (Deux-Sèvres) for almost a week, a support rally will be organized on Monday April 17, reports France Bleu Poitou.

It is the socio-cultural center of the Park, located in Niort, which is at the initiative of this gathering. It is scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. in the Tour-Chabot district where the child disappeared on Sunday April 9.

On Friday, the body of a child was found in the Sèvre. The prosecutor said that “the body found is that of a young boy who corresponds to the description of little Marciano”. The prosecutor, however, clarified that “the identification can only be formally confirmed upon return of the genetic comparison analysis ordered by the prosecution”.

The investigation is now open from the head of the search for the causes of death. So far, no suspicious marks have been found on the body. An autopsy will be performed in the coming days. The inquest will also determine the exact cause of death. Significant resources had been mobilized to find traces of the child, who suffers from autism.
