The Festival du Jamais Lu Montréal unveiled on Wednesday the program for its next edition, which will be held from May 3 to 11, at the Théâtre aux Écuries.
This edition is concocted by Marcelle Dubois, general and artistic director, with the collaboration of Lyndz Dantiste. Its theme is Catching the light and offers 26 new events and theater projects. Among the texts read in this 23e edition, there are works by Steve Gagnon, Micha Raoutenfeld, Tamara Nguyen and Carolanne Foucher.
The opening night, Uasheiau: piercing the clouds, is an evening where children have the power! “It’s a proposal from the festival and from the Innu artist Soleil Launière and her daughters-in-law, Élodie (12 years old) and Éléonore (9 years old), who imagined a playground where children take power,” summarizes the press release.
