It is a whole network of prostitution that the police of Poitiers have dismantled. Three young men aged 17, 19 and 20, from Poitiers, were arrested and placed in police custody last Tuesday. It all started on July 8 whena 17 year old minor goes to the Poitiers police station. She explains to the officers being the victim of three individuals who force him into prostitution since mid-June. She then details to the investigators the functioning of the three alleged pimps: they take her against her will, by car or by train, to several cities in France, each time to have paid sex.
Another minor victim
The young woman also evokes another minor, also forced by the three men to prostitute herself. The police manage to identify this second alleged victim. With the support of Limoges police officers, the Poitiers judicial police eventually track down the three alleged pimps.
They were arrested in the Paris region, placed in police custody and presented to an investigating judge at the Poitiers prosecutor’s office. These young men are indicted for aggravated pimping, kidnapping and forcible confinement. The investigation must now determine the roles of each and say if there are other victims.
