The testimonies describe a “predator”who led a real “chase” to female students. A teacher at the University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas was suspended from his duties at the end of March, according to information from the Figaro. “A procedure was launched with the public prosecutor on April 10, 2019”, indicates the administration of the faculty, contacted by the newspaper. What are the alleged facts?
Witnesses interviewed by Le Figaro and The Parisian describe a well-oiled modus operandi. The man contacted the students on social networks, including Instagram, and by e-mail. “I find you rather very cute”, “Be careful, I am quite sensitive to cute girls like you”, “By the way, know that your outfit this morning was going to delight you”, he slipped to them. First messages quickly followed by invitation to meet: “Are you available by any chance tonight?”, “Would you rather have a drink?”.
I saw the messages he sends to the girls and they are the same every time. He cast his net sending lots of e-mails to everyone and he saw the fish he caught.

According to Le Figaro, this case is not limited to these acts of harassment. Several testimonies assure that the professor insisted on having unprotected sex, when he knows he is suffering from a sexually transmitted disease: hepatitis B. The daily publishes a screenshot of a message in which he recognizes to one of his acquaintances to have this disease.

In office for three years, the professor contacted dozens of students. According to The Parisian69 victims testified against him to the school administration.
Who is the stalker?
Aged 27, the one the press presents as “Mr. B.” was in charge of tutorials within the university. A student described in Figaro a teacher close to his students, “end of mind, who speaks well and who has a different pedagogy from that of the archetype of the TD manager”. The kind of teacher who offers to go to the bar for the last lesson. “We stayed until 3 a.m., I thought this guy was fabulous. (…) He then became a friend”testifies this student again.
How did the university react?
The Panthéon-Assas University indicated to the Figaro that the professor had been suspended on March 26 and that the facts had been reported to the Paris prosecutor’s office on April 10. Contacted by franceinfo, the prosecution confirmed having received this report, “which is currently being processed”. The students interviewed by the daily stress the understanding attitude of the professor who leads the harasser’s team. “He immediately listened to us and reacted immediately.”indicates one of them to the Figaro.
