The Paris firefighters were called around 4 a.m. this Wednesday to a fire in a leisure center in Saint-Denis. No injuries to deplore but the affected building, located in the courtyard of a nursery school rue du square De Geyter, completely burned down. “The origin of the fire is the preferred track”indicates the town hall of Saint-Denis in a press release, adding in passing that the‘intruder alarm got triggered at the time of the facts.

The fifty or so children who spent the school holidays in the disaster-stricken leisure center are cared for in a nearby establishment. In September, after-school care will be provided in the premises of the nursery school.
