On social networks, some claim that a student, mobilized in the pro-Palestinian demonstrations in Paris, died after being held in police custody during which the police tortured him. Serious accusations made by pro-Russian accounts and sites, and by a video of a man presented as the brother of the deceased student. Allegations that nothing can support, firmly denied by the Paris prosecutor’s office.
In recent weeks we have seen pro-Palestinian demonstrations multiply in Paris, the first mobilizations were seen at Sciences Po Paris. A video, social media posts and articles on unreliable sites claim that a pro-Palestinian student was tortured by police and then died at his home. Serious accusations denied by the Paris prosecutor’s office. Among the demonstrators, no one seems to know this so-called student. Everything suggests a completely invented misinformation of pro-Russian origin.
