At the Oscars ceremony on Sunday, March 27, presenter Chris Rock pranks Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, about her hair loss. In response, the actor goes on stage to slap the comedian. Later in the evening, Will Smith receives the Oscar for best actor for his role in “The Williams Method”, in which he plays the father of two tennis players, Venus and Serena. “Love causes madness. Thank you to the academy, I hope I will be invited again”said the actor.

Another surprise of the evening, the film “Coda”, adapted from the French feature film “La famille Bélier”, won the Oscar for best film. It tells the story of a teenager whose parents are hard of hearing. “This is a historic moment for the community of the deaf, the dumb and all those in the world who suffer from disabilities“said Sian Heder, director of Coda.
