The young person involved “came across a policeman from the Blanc Mesnil anti-crime squad. This policeman made him understand that he wanted a violent altercation. He insulted him, isolated him in a building hall and beat him up shots”, explains his lawyer Yassine Bouzrou. He was “wounded in the face and has to do x-rays.” His friends couldn’t come home “to rescue him” since two other police officers stood guard in front of the building with weapons in their hands and prevented people from intervening or filming. After the publication of this video, the prefect of police seized the IGPN “for the purpose of establishing the circumstances in which the facts shown occurred”.
