In Cherbourg, in Manche, a 19-year-old man was shot dead by a police officer after refusing to comply, Sunday June 9.
Tuesday June 11, flowers were left in Cherbourg (Manche), at the place where Sullivan lost his life. The 19-year-old young man was killed by a police officer following a refusal to comply. The residents of the neighborhood are in shock. On Sunday evening, June 9, a police crew attempted to control a vehicle which they believed was traveling at excessive speed. After refusing to comply, the three occupants fled on foot.
Among them, Sullivan allegedly intentionally pushed one of the police officers, who responded with a taser. At the same time, his colleague uses his firearm. Wounded in the chest, the victim did not survive. The family announces that they are filing a complaint against X for intentional homicide. According to the first elements of the investigation, the vehicle was declared stolen. The Alliance police union supports the official who fired the shot. Justice is suggesting at this stage intentional homicide.
