Playmobil collectors share their passion in the rural home of Bourogne, in the Territoire de Belfort. The Dioplay and Playmo associations of Nico and Ludo exhibit their pieces through dioramas, until Monday. There’s something for everyone: a medieval castle, a basketball court, the village of Asterix or even a replica of a magical world. This is the first time that an exhibition of this type has been organized in the North of Franche-Comté.
For the organisers, the objective is to “bring a smile to young and old children”. Stéphane Lepage, creator of the organization Les Playmo de Nico et Ludo, named after his two sons, is delighted to see parents with their children. “The succession is assuredhe rejoices. Playmobil is a universal passion and it is multigenerational. Generally parents pass on their passion to their children.
Parents who passed on their passion to their children
This is the case of Yoann, who came with his sons Antoine and Jonas. He is particularly fond of the replica of a castle in medieval times, spread over 16 m². “We fall back into childhood, he smiled. I’m lucky to be able to share this with my family. Playmobil, I’ve always known that, I hope it will continue for a long time.”_ He still has a number of the emblematic figurines, which are now in the room of his youngest son, Jonas. It’s like that the virus was transmitted to his two children.
For Odile, it’s the opposite, she came to please her grandson, Pacôme, a big fan of Playmobil. Eventually, she gets caught up in the game too. She has a particular fondness for the diorama featuring fairies: “That’s wonderful. I think it’s very well done, but maybe it’s my child’s heart talking”.
Others come adults and without children, just out of passion. Emmanuel is impressed to see so many pieces brought together: “I have never seen so many in one place. To make such a grand setting is grandiose. It almost makes you want to go quickly to the store to buy them”. However, he may have trouble finding a place to store them at home, he who has been collecting Playmobil for fifteen years: “I have an entire garage full, as well as three rooms in the house full of boxes. It’s a huge volume.”
There are not only replicas produced by the two associations. They also involved primary school children from the region. They made dioramas and the best ones are also part of the exhibition. A way to continue transmitting the virus to younger generations.
