The tour had to take a forced break of almost two years due to the pandemic, but it still managed to reach the plateau of 100,000 tickets sold – an extremely rare feat in the theater or for all genres of shows combined.

This new version of the mythical piece, created in 1979 by Michel Côté, Marcel Gauthier and Marc Messier, returned to the stage in June 2019. The tour was to last until December 2022, but the trio took advantage of the reception of this reward to announce that he will continue the adventure. Thus, Bob, Verrue, Pointu, Tit-Mil, Léo and the others will once again establish the tavern chez Willy on the stages of Quebec until the end of 2024.

The original version of brewwritten in collaboration with Claude Meunier, Jean-Pierre Plante and Francine Ruel, was the greatest success in the history of Quebec theater with 3,322 performances played in front of more than 3,394,195 spectators.
