Traffic at Nantes-Atlantique airport resumed shortly before 4 p.m. this Saturday afternoon after being suspended for three hours, following a a landing accident of a plane carrying 160 passengers. According to the Loire-Atlantique prefecture, the accident caused no casualties or injuries.

According to the first elements, the landing gear of the aircraft, belonging to the Transavia company, would have collapsed, and a tire would have burst. The incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. and all passengers were subsequently evacuated.

Traffic was restored at 3:50 p.m. after the plane was evacuated and the runway cleaned, it was said. Since the beginning of the afternoon, flights to land in Nantes had been diverted to other airports in the region.
