A person was seriously injured with a stab following what appears to be a fight in Sherbrooke on Monday.
Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS) was alerted by several calls placed to 911 around 1 p.m. These calls reported a fight in progress at 1290 boulevard Lavigerie, in the east end of the city.
Police officers and paramedics quickly rushed to the scene.
Three victims were stabbed, one seriously. She was taken to hospital, while the other two people had minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.
So far, three suspects have been arrested and transported to the police station. Investigators and forensic identification technicians were deployed to the scene of the incident and continue to conduct the investigation in order to establish the causes and circumstances of the event.
The SPS notes that the incident does not represent a danger to the population.
