A 66-year-old man is between life and death after a tragedy this Wednesday evening on the road from Avignon to Nîmes. The accident occurred at a roundabout near the administrative detention center. According to the first elements of the investigation, and according to information from France Bleu Gard Lozère, in total three cars that ran over him. The first two drivers wouldn’t have seen it. The driver of the third car stopped and called the fire department and police.
The man struck several times is between life and death. He suffers in particular from significant head trauma. He was in respiratory arrest when firefighters arrived.
Paramedics managed to resuscitate him, but he is in critical condition.
