A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck Monday evening by a motorist in the Ville-Marie sector in Montreal.
The collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. at the corner of Papineau and De Maisonneuve streets, in the Ville-Marie sector.
According to initial information, the pedestrian was transported to a hospital where his condition is considered critical, said SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.
A perimeter has been erected in the area. Collision investigators were requested at the scene.
