Bison Futé recorded a peak of nearly 790 kilometers of traffic jams on Saturday July 23 at 12:15 p.m. on the roads of France. The day is classified red in the direction of departures at the national level and black in the Rhone Valley where the traffic was “extremely congested, according to Bison Futé in the descent over more than 90 km at 12:50 p.m.

Still according to Bison Futé, at 12:50 p.m., it took 4 hours instead of 1:30 to go from Lyon to Orange and 3:10 instead of 1:40 to drive from Orange to Narbonne. In addition, Vinci Autoroute specifies that at noon on Saturday, it took 6h20 instead of 4h30 to make Paris-Bordeaux and 2h15 to reach Spain from Bordeaux, instead of 1h55.

On the A10, also very busy, it took almost 8 hours or more than 3 additional hours to reach Bordeaux from Paris.

The A9 also accumulated more than 100 kilometers of traffic jams in the middle of the day with a high traffic density in both directions between Avignon and Spain.
Sunday should be a calmer day, with “usual” traffic, except for some difficulties in the Rhône valley towards the sea “all day long”, according to Bison Futé.
