The Seattle Kraken reserved the same fate for defender Cale Fleury, who wore the CH jersey during the 2019-2020 season.
Another former Habs defenseman, Kale Clague, was placed on waivers by the Buffalo Sabres. Clague had played 25 games with the Habs in 2021-2022, amassing three goals and two assists for five points. He played in 33 games with the Sabers last year.
