Organized since Thursday May 9, the rave party in Maine-et-Loire ends in tragedy. On Sunday morning, a man in his thirties died following a cardiac arrest, despite the intervention of the emergency services present on site. An investigation was opened to determine the exact causes of the man’s death. The first elements reveal that the victim was under the influence of narcotics but, for the moment, no link has been established with the cardiac arrest.
200 people supported by emergency services
The rave party was immediately suspended following the death. The challenge now for the police is to carry out alcohol checks and drug screenings, and manage the evacuation of the 10,000 revelers. Nearly 200 people were treated by emergency services, six of them were transferred to a hospital center.
