In Vailly-sur-Aisne (Aisne), a woman was attacked by dogs. She suffered multiple bites on her forearm and a finger was almost entirely torn off. The victim, a woman in her fifties, was transferred to the “SOS Main” service in Saint-Quentin. Four other people were injured by the pack, made up of five dogs. “These are four Malinois, or Malinois crusaders, and an American staff who were wandering around the town. They were found at their owner’s home”explains Eric Thibaut, the second in command of the Soissons company.

Civil lawsuits

The first elements of the investigation indicate that the dogs were not declared at the town hall, as required by law. The mayor was able to meet the owner, a resident who arrived in the town last March. Supported by the canine brigade, the dogs will be subjected to behavioral expertise. Civil proceedings will be initiated against the owner. The victims are ready to file a criminal complaint.
