A one-week reprieve for Caddy

The judicial court of Saverne (Bas-Rhin) granted Tuesday a new reprieve to Caddy. Only one offer is in the running, that of the current boss Stéphane Dedieu. It plans to keep 111 jobs.

The court decided toone week dismissal, on March 1, 2022, to give the buyer time to perfect his financing plan. The current CEO plans to join forces with two other shareholders: the current Italian distributor of Caddy and a German investor. He promises a contribution of one million three hundred thousand euros associated with a loan of two million five hundred thousand.

During a consultation of employees organized by the CSE, a large majority voted in favor of the current boss’s offer project, while 23 votes were in favor of a judicial liquidation. The company has been insolvent since early January.
