The High Health Authority is launching a new vaccination campaign against Covid-19, in anticipation of the Paris Olympic Games this summer. People most at risk are affected.
A few months before summer, the government once again intends to raise the sleeves of the French. A new vaccination campaign against Covid-19 has been launched, to avoid cases of contamination during sunny days. This winter, the wave was moderate, with 33,000 hospitalizations. But the High Health Authority is preparing for a strong mixing of the population during the period of the Olympic Games.
Who is affected by this new recall?
The objective is therefore to boost the immune defenses of those most at risk before the event. This new campaign concerns people over 80, but also immunocompromised patients, residents of nursing homes, and individuals deemed to be at very high risk by their medical team. This reminder is nevertheless open to anyone who would like to do it, and free because it is fully covered by Health Insurance.
