Singer-songwriter King Melrose returns to his roots. In September, he will present a new EP as well as a show highlighting soul music, his team announced on Tuesday.
“Soul music has been an inspiration to me for a very long time and I wanted to make it a concept in which I could make the public travel in this universe that makes me vibrate”, indicates, in a press release, the singer about his new EP titled Soulmanthe launch of which is scheduled for September 6 at the Ministère, in Montreal.
Already two excerpts have appeared, either Everything is allowedlast spring, and In the heada few days ago.
The singer of It’s dancing and of Do not let me down will present this new material as well as some of its hits revisited in a soulful version on stage next fall.
A complete album will be released in September 2024, the press release also specifies.
