Journalist and host Jean-Luc Mongrain is “now in the podcast world” with the launch of his new program Mongrain podcast.
“Incredible, you will say, I would have touched everything,” he says in the video of less than a minute, published last Thursday, where he explains why he chose this mode of distribution. “The podcast is something that is not controlled, it is something completely free, an exchange between the guests and us, without stops, without advertising breaks, without commercial breaks”, specifies -he.
Listeners will be able to subscribe to the newsletter on its website to find out the topics of discussion and the guests who will be received on the show recorded in the studios of Zú, before receiving a video link to listen to the new episodes first. The themes will be varied and will affect the business world as well as the artistic, cultural and political circles.
Jean-Luc Mongrain simultaneously launched his new YouTube channel where a new episode will be added every week, starting October 28.
The former TQS and LCN news anchor opened his first public Facebook page last year, during the first wave of the pandemic, which led him to replace Bernard Drainville on 98.5 FM during summer.
