a new place of accommodation for Ukrainian refugees

This 150-place accommodation will open at the beginning of May in the Villa Bellagio residences in Amboise. Ukrainian refugees will be able to stay there for a few weeksthe time to organize their life in France “in particular for accommodation and work”, specifies the Prefecture of Indre-et-Loire in a press release.

Only 50 places will be available initially, before being gradually extended to 150 throughout the month of May. A team of the association Alteralia, specializing in integration through housing, will be on site to manage the place. It will also provide social support and the supply of basic necessities.

Do not donate at this time

This is the second place on the initiative of the State services installed in the department. The first opened last March in La-Ville-aux-Dames.

The Prefecture calls for “do not donate” before refugee needs are identified, as well as “do not move on the site” so that the Ukrainians can settle in peace.
