. The group’s management announced during the monthly CSE on Thursday the creation of a new paint factory. A quantified investment up to 100 million euros by some unions. “This new Painting will be located in a unique building near the Ferrage and the Assembly”indicates the management, which plans to commission this new unit by 2025.
Concert of union reactions
The site’s unions were quick to react, more or less favorably, to this announcement. For the CFE-CGC, “this investment which completes the transformation of its factory 4.0 is the right continuation of the modernization and compaction of the site”. For the FO union, “All that remained was to modernize Painting to have an ultra-efficient industrial site”. The CGT regrets that the management “remain vague on this project in terms of employment, and working conditions, and on the location”.
