A scantily clad star, screaming fans, an evening at a popular club and the word “sex” repeated a few times: a second trailer reveals a little more about The Idollong-awaited series co-created by Canadian singer The Weeknd.

In this new HBO production, Lily-Rose Depp embodies a sulphurous pop singer. She will meet the owner of a nightclub in Los Angeles (Abel Tesfaye, alias The Weeknd), who will turn out to belong to a secret sect.
To create this series of six episodes, Abel Tesfaye teamed up with the director ofEuphoriaSam Levinson, and producer Reza Fahim.
Among the cast are Troye Sivan, Suzanna Son, Moses Sumney, Jane Adams, Dan Levy, Eli Roth, Rachel Sennott, Hari Nef and Hank Azaria. Jennie Ruby Jane, singer of the K-pop group Black Pink, also plays a role.
No release date has yet been revealed. On the series’ Instagram account, it is content to indicate that “the most sordid love story in all of Hollywood” will soon be offered.
