The cinema of the future will open in Mougins, near Nice. It has balconies, XXL comfort and even a bar inside the room.
Visitors discovered a preview of a new ultra-modern cinema in Mougins (Alpes-Maritimes). “It feels like we’re in a flying saucer”, testifies one of them. The architectural feat of the room lies in the five alcoves which can accommodate seven to eight people each. The room was designed as a modern theater. Speakers are directly integrated into the balconies.
A 4.5 million euro project
The project cost 4.5 million euros. At the end of the open day, reactions from spectators were mixed. “We feel like we’re immersed in the film”, says one of them. Another, on the other hand, believes that it did not “didn’t change the experience too much”. Similar rooms are expected to open abroad in the coming years in Morocco, China and India.
