Since the disappearance of Johnny Hallyday, his fans have never ceased to celebrate him. At least 2,000 admirers of the rocker met near Bourges, in Cher, on Saturday June 11 and Sunday June 12.
Johnny Hallyday fans have it under their skin. In the Cher, a festival offers them the opportunity to pay him a new tribute. “For me, he wasn’t just a singer. He was the big brother I never had”, explains an admirer. The star’s fans came from all over France. This is the case of Erik Mathieu, collector and seller, who traveled from Mont-de-Marsan (Landes) to share his passion and sell a few collector’s items.
The admirers of Taulier took over his best hits, the time of a weekend filled with nostalgia. “It’s not the same anymore. Before, it was: ‘Are you going to a concert there? What place have you taken?’. We all followed each other, it was a small band, and now there is no more that”comments Patrick Pennetier, organizer of the event and president of the association “The fans have heart”.
