When the Foo Fighters make their comeback on the Plains of Abraham this summer, during the Festival d’été de Québec, they will be armed with a new collection of freshly unveiled songs.

Dave Grohl’s band announced on Wednesday morning the June 2 release of But Here We Arehis eleventh album, but the first since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022.
To set the table, the Foo Fighters unveiled the first extract, the song Rescuedwhich indirectly alludes to the death of the man who had been part of the group since 1997.
On their website, the Foo Fighters refer to this album as a new chapter in the band’s life.
