A new director for the British Museum, after the theft scandal which shook the institution

The famous London museum has appointed Nicholas Cullinan as director. He will be responsible for restoring trust within his teams and renovating the building.

The current director of the National Portrait Gallery in London, Nicholas Cullinan, has been appointed director of the British Museum, announced Thursday March 28 the institution shaken by the scandal of the theft of 2,000 pieces and the long-term serial of the marbles of the Parthenon.
