A new complaint was filed on Wednesday against Buitoni and Nestlé targeting a second range of pizzas after the “Fraich’up”, the “Bella Napoli” range, franceinfo learned Thursday May 5 from the complainant’s lawyer, Pierre Debuisson, confirming information from BFMTV.
The complaint was filed for “unintentional injury”, “endangering the life of others” by a woman who was the victim of food poisoning which appeared on March 29, two days after eating a Buitoni pizza from the “Bella Napoli” range. “Poisoning with E.coli bacteria has been noted by medical expert reports”, says the lawyer.
Two complaints have already been filed with the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office by parents of children hospitalized for poisoning with E.coli bacteria, linked to the consumption of “Fraich’Up” pizzas.
