The appointment of a new director general was approved on Wednesday by the Center de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM). This is Isabelle Gélinas, whose mandate will begin on January 31, 2022.
The CSSDM says that this teacher by training has been in school management for about twenty years, having held “positions of establishment management, educational services management and general management, including four years in the private sector”.
For the past five years, she was the Executive Director of the Center de services scolaire des Affluents.
The CSSDM was put under supervision by the Legault government in June, alleging in particular significant gaps in governance.
