Very few beaches are accessible to dogs in France. One of them has just been inaugurated in Vallauris Golfe-Juan, in the Alpes-Maritimes.

A beach is now dedicated to dogs in Vallauris Golfe-Juan (Alpes-Maritimes). “We are very happy to know that it will open for this summer, at least the dogs will also be able to enjoy the beach and the sea”, says a walker. Located under the railway line, the beach offers a breathtaking view of the Lérins Islands.

Owners responsible for their dogs

If the little ones can enjoy it freely, category 2 dogs will have to be tethered. “The masters remain permanently responsible for their dog on the one hand, and on the other hand they must clean up any overflows. Everything has been arranged, there are bags, there are garbage cans”, explains Kevin Luciano, the mayor of Vallauris Golfe-Juan (LR). The police, for their part, will come and issue fines for offenders. The beach is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
