“This demonstration sends shivers down my spine in my city!”, reacted the elected Annecy ecologist Fabienne Grébert, reports Wednesday, May 17 France Bleu Pays de Savoie after the holding Tuesday evening of a nationalist parade in the streets of Annecy. A video of this rally was posted on Twitter on the account “Le Syndicat des Fleuristes”, which describes itself as “a group of French patriots with values ​​and convictions”.

On the video, we actually see hooded demonstrators marching through downtown Annecy, singing in front of the Notre-Dame-de-Liesse church, waving French and Savoyard flags. We also hear them chanting slogans like “France to the French” or “Europe, youth, revolution”, a rallying cry frequently heard in ultra-right gatherings.
