This is a production of the Théâtre de l’Oeil Ouvert which wants to pay tribute to the feminist voice of Clémence DesRochers “beyond jokes and humorous monologues”, in particular through the theme of “intergenerational transmission very present in his work.

On stage, we announce “a small garden, a piano in the background, a child’s chair, a school bag, a polka-dot dress, an umbrella and a rose”. Actress Jade Bruneau will interpret both Clémence and the characters of her monologues. Simon Fréchette-Daoust will act as narrator and will play friends, colleagues, and relatives of Clémence. A pianist (Marc-André Perron) will also be on stage so that texts and songs will intertwine.

Tickets are already on sale and a trailer has been unveiled.
