A municipal policewoman from Libourne was assaulted in the city center on the night of Tuesday 14 to Wednesday 15 December, reports France Bleu Gironde on Thursday 16 December. The grievor was punched and elbowed and suffered from a dislocated jaw. She got five days of ITT.
The facts took place during an intervention of a police crew for a brawl between alcoholic people. Several colleagues of the attacked municipal policewoman were also insulted during this same intervention and they filed a complaint for contempt.
“The attacker is known to the police services of the city of Libourne, I hope that he will be quickly arrested and that the prosecution will prosecute him severely”, explained the mayor of Libourne, Philippe Buisson.
The attacked municipal policewoman lodged a complaint on Wednesday, December 15, he told France Bleu Gironde. “The assault was filmed by video surveillance cameras in the city center”, added the mayor of the town.
